Our Hiring Process

We welcome you to join LifeStance Health and help us reimagine mental health care. Our hiring journey for prospective clinical and corporate job candidates typically follows the process listed below.

  • 1
Review Job Description and Learn About LifeStance
The LifeStance career site is updated daily and displays all our open positions. Job seekers are able to search by job types and location to discover opportunities suitable to their background and interest. Candidates can also explore more about LifeStance and the work we do.
  • 2
Submit Your Application or Send Us Your Resume
Once you find a position that matches your skills and experience, please apply online at https://careers.lifestance.com. This takes just a few minutes, and you’ll need an up-to-date resume to upload. You’ll know we received your application when you receive an auto-email reply. Additionally, most of our clinical job postings include a direct email and/or telephone number. Feel free to reach out directly via email, phone, or text.
  • 3
    Recruitment Review
All submitted applications are evaluated by a member of our recruitment team, who will review the applicant’s education, professional experience, and credentials to ensure they align with the stated job requirements.
  • 4
    Phone Interview
Applicants matching the job requirements will be contacted for a phone interview with a recruitment team member to further discuss the candidate’s background and discuss the job opportunity. Questions about compensation and benefits can typically be answered here.
  • 5
    Hiring Manager Interview
The next step in the process is interviewing with the hiring manager and sometimes additional team members. This is conducted either in-person or virtually via video conference. It is an interactive forum to do a deeper dive into your background as well as the job opportunity.
  • 6
    Extending An Offer
LifeStance will extend an offer both verbally and in writing to candidates meeting the qualification requirements. This will be communicated to you via your assigned recruiter. Those who are not extended offers will also be notified. Candidates go through various reference, background, and credentialing verification.
  • 7
    Onboarding
After accepting the offer, LifeStance will begin the onboarding process to set new employees up for success. For clinicians, this includes credentialing. Please refer to the Credentialing Process at LifeStance for more information.
