The work culture is extremely kind, supportive, and generous. Everyone is helpful and accommodating, which creates a positive and collaborative environment. I enjoy the flexibility of the hybrid schedule. Both direct support staff and management are readily available and responsive when assistance is needed. Pros Positive work environment Cons I honestly can’t think of anything.

I really enjoy working with my local team. I have learned that I should have worked in private practice far earlier in my career. Some members of management are more involved at a personal level than others. The office culture here is awesome. We all help each other. The hardest part is often the “new programs” that roll out. Also, the lack of paid vacation and the pay structure itself. If not for the crew I work with I would have left already. Pros Great staff at Fenton office Cons need to expand our office and install security provisions, Need to increase base rate for the high producing team mates.

I have enjoyed my time working at Lifestance for the past few years. As is the case working for any private practice, there are many pros and cons. I’m grateful to work for an organization that accepts insurance, as I believe that financial resources should not be determining factor in a person’s access to quality care. I’m deeply committed to my patients and feel so grateful that Lifestance is able to connect me with members of my preferred population. I never need to worry about having an adequate caseload and appreciate that Lifestance’s billing department takes primary responsibility of managing billing issues. I do however wish that my reimbursement rate was higher, as I’ve found that in certain situations, I only take home about 20% of what Lifestance charges insurance companies. Additionally, I think that as clinicians should be incentivized to expand their clinical knowledge and expertise. I was disappointed when, after having spent thousands of dollars on an EMDR certification, I was not offered any kind of reimbursement or raise. Pros Independence, Flexible scheduling, Quality Billing Department Cons Low compensation rate, Little room for career growth, No sense of community
